Managing Director Sophia Group
Pascal Hendrickx founded the SOPHIA group in 1997 and has served as its managing director ever since. His primary focus is consultancy on facilities management and property maintenance for SOPHIA Management clients, an area in which he has over 15 years of experience. He was born in Lille in 1965 and earned a Bachelor's degree in technical sales engineering from the University of Valenciennes in 1986. He began his career with the SECA Group, a technical consulting firm, where he successively managed the marketing department, the building management department and the Belgian affiliate SECA BENELUX before establishing his own company. Pascal Hendrickx teaches a course on technical property management at the Ecole Supérieure des Travaux Publics de Paris and he is the co-author of a practical guide to technical property management which was published in 2003 by Editions Eyroles of Paris. In 2010, PH obtained a masters degree in real estate management from ESSEC and wrote a feasibility study research paper on the creation of an investment fund to finance energy-saving works in the property sector.
HR & Finance Administrator Sophia Group
Since 2003, Fabienne Desmit has been the executive assistant at the SOPHIA Group, with responsibility for the management of human resources and the group’s finances. She was born in 1958 and holds a secretarial diploma. She began her career in an advertising agency, later refining her knowledge of accounting in a transport company. She also gained experience in sales and customer service as manager of a family clothing boutique.
